This is the Weekend Update for the first weekend of July 6th – 8th.

I’ve been working on a list of all MST3K episodes with links to watch them on Google/YouTube/Break/DailyMotion/etc. It’s not nearly complete, and there are some innaccuracies.
I watched Free Enterprise this weekend. It’s a really bad movie starring the guy from Will & Grace, and the only way you can really enjoy any part of it is if you are a hardcore pop culture geek. I didn’t enjoy the movie but I found myself saying the actor’s lines before or at the same time that they did (even though I have never seen the movie before). For instance, this paraphrased exchange between me and the movie:
Guy from Will & Grace: Like that time you didn’t want to leave Spock on Omnicron Ceti III.
Me shouting at the TV: It’s “OMI”cron Ceti III!
Shatner: It’s “OMI”cron Ceti III.
I think the movie might have been an adapted Dennis Miller monologue. Being on the other end of the obscure references sword for the first time in my life (I missed about 25%), I can see why it’s not a widely appealing comic device.
In other news, Ali is planning on showing some cakes at the Franklin County Fair in about 2 weeks. Apparently, you don’t need to enter real cake, just foam with real decoration. I will post some pictures when she’s finished. I’m confident she will leave the fair with a top prize.
I created a Wikipedia page for the Game King-II to try and get some information out there about the thing. There was literally nothing I could find other than what was listed on Geeks.com before I purchased the thing. It’s just a stub now and needs more work.
We finally ran out of laundry detergent, so I got to use some of the homemade stuff. My first attempt didn’t turn out so great looking, but it works just fine. Here’s the recipe I followed.
Yeah, Free Enterprise didn’t win any awards. But there’s so few geek-centric films.
I have a copy of Free Enterprise and I never got around to watching it. I hear William Shatner recites Shakespeare. Are the rumors true?
Er, well he does recite some, but at the end…he also…”raps” some…oh it’s terrible
I smell Oscar, or something else stinky
