I find Shakespeare so hard to read, and yet I find his writing so eloquent, beautiful, and well crafted. What am I to do?
Buy some Shakespeare Made Easy books, that’s what!
Shakespeare Made Easy is a series of “translations” of Shakespeare into modern English. That alone isn’t what I’m looking for–I want to enjoy Shakespeare, not pass a class. What makes these books good, is that the translation is side-by-side with the original English. Which means you can appreciate the craftsmanship of Shakespeare’s words while simulataeously understanding what the heck he is saying. Genius!
Here’s an example:

Groves, I always gave it to you straight…
What’s with your lack of quality content for the last few months? Yeah, baby. I know. Congrats btw. But what the hell.
Awesome example above. We can’t even read it. We have to assume it’s this topic you speak off, but we can’t even be sure. It could be a recipe for Skittles and Hotdog Casserole for all we know.
I’m busy doing things that pay better than writing for this blog. Also, writer’s block, maybe? Maybe that’s a bit presumptious.
Also, who are you to call me out on lack of content, Mr. I’ll post 4 times and then never post again! It’s not easy to keep a consistent pace on blogging!
I realized my limit and warned you ahead of time that I didn’t have time to do it and wouldn’t post that often. I see no such warning from you.
Also, my articles we’re full of original writings and quality content. Usually always the most comments came to my posts which tells me people found them interesting.
Give me my posting info. You have a kid, that’s amazing. You need help. I’m going to make you famous
I don’t like the sound of that…
It’s not like its a post about certain movies on youtube about Scrubs….
Cliff Notes
Cliff Notes would be good if I just want to pass a class, but in this case I actually want to enjoy the writing of Shakespeare.
Shakespeare was over rated, and sloppy – but he was good for a line or two here and there. You should try William Blake’s Prophetic Books. That’ll blow yer mind!
