Here is the latest leaked trailer for the upcoming Clone Wars CGI movie.

The plot revolving around Jabba’s son seems a little bizarre, but the movie looks fun.

As a lad I was always a little curious about Jabba’s son. All of his sons in fact. And parents – really his entire genome. I’m glad this can finally be fleshed out.

I like that they seem to be preserving the overall style of the original animated series but I am really tired of how everything in Star Wars is related to everything else. Now Jabba had an active part in the Clone Wars? Ugh!

Also, I’m really hoping as the show kicks off we see more about the actual Clone Troopers. Jedi are getting to be about as played out as Ninjas.

It piques my interest — the conversion from animation to CGI actually looks pretty good. Jedi are what really fuel the Star Wars universe, but the abundance of focus on them in all the new content makes me savor the original trilogy a bit more where they weren’t a dime a dozen.

Still looking forward to the Force Unleashed as the next big Star Wars release I’m most interested in, though.
