Author: Last time I posted an article about 24, I got spoiler complaints. So here is your warning:

Now back to your regularly scheduled article…
Jack Bauer is still the man, even though he has been shanghaied aboard the Shanghai. Here’s a recap:
- Neck stabbings: 2. One by Petty Officer Redshirt and one by Jack “All Clear” Bauer.
- Tender moments: 3. Jack & Audrey kissing. Chloe shedding a tear for Edgar. Bill Buchanan asking Homeland lady (Karen?) out on a breakfast date.
- Nauseau: The first lady, Martha “Marty” Logan “stalling” the president. Yech. She should get a medal.
- Redshirt body count: 1. They should show a scene of all the redshirts arguing about who gets to go with Jack. “No, I went last time, it’s your turn.”
- Shocks: 3. Petty Officer Redshirt did not eat it. Jack shot an unarmed man (Henderson). The writers of 24 didn’t forget about the whole Chinese thing.
- Okay, terrific: Morris O’Brian, Chloe’s ex-husband. Alrighty. Oh, is that the president you’ve kidnapped? Well, curse my crumpets, chap, I’m British or possibly Australian! Here’s those doo-dads you asked for, old bean.
- Saw it coming: Logan picking up his personal effects while Jack is arrested. You’ve been outsneaked by the sneakiest of the sneaks: Jack “Sneaky” Bauer.
- Best moment of the season: Jack taking off his gigantic Spaceballs helmet after tasering Logan’s Secret Service men. “YOU?!” I could almost smell Logan soiling himself.

All I can say, it was great!
Okay I’ll say more. I liked the Chinese back into it. The rumor of this season being about the Chinese days after Season 4 turned out to be a season behind. Looks like Season 6 will happen as soon as the hit the port of China. Finally a season with no terrorists!
Thank God they tied up Henderson and have Logan most likely out of the picture.
Predictions for next year. Curtis has a major role, Aaron has a major role (so glad he lived), Buchanan and Karen are both back at CTU/helping Bauer. All other bets are off! Even Chloe!
January cant come soon enough!
I predict Karen & Bill will be married, a la Tony and Michelle. I also predict that the Chinese will want to use Jack to fight a terrorist of their own in exchange for his freedom (or some limited form of freedom).
Logan could very well be in the picture next season…he could be granted clemency or something and work with Doctor “Rocket” Romano to get revenge on Bauer.
