Please welcome the newest author to mgroves.com, Correl Roush.

Correl is also a web developer and all-around nerd like myself, but with a slightly different slant on the world. He may explain himself with slightly more nuance (and accuracy) than myself over time, but here’s a brief introduction to what you can expect from Mr. Roush.

He’s something of an open source advocate, but not an obnoxious zealot. He is a talented programmer and anime fan. He introduced me to the wonderful world of Bruce Campbell and Army of Darkness, one extremely late night.

He has eaten my wife’s waffles (and no that is not a metaphor or anything). He has actually gone golfing with me–I was pleasantly suprised at his willingness to ruin a perfectly good walk, and furthermore at his willingness to do it again.

Anyway, I could go on and on about him, but here is the real reason why he is here:

Stop out-relaxing me!

Blogging, as well, is fair game for laziness fights. I’d like to keep mgroves.com updated with a ton of fresh new posts every day, but the truth is that sometimes I can’t come up with anything to write about, or I’m too busy or lazy. Having another guy here, whether it be Tweeder or now Correl, makes it easier for me to provide you with interesting content at a pace that I’m comfortable with.

Welcome, Correl, to mgroves.com!

A new game has been released for the NES.

Yes, that NES. The same one that had Super Mario, Final Fantasy, and Metal Gear.

It’s not a major commercial release or anything, it’s just a “homebrew” title based on the popular Japanese sudoku puzzles: Sudoku for NES.

If you want to play it, you’ll need an emulator. I recommend FCE Ultra that you can get at zophar.net. Don’t worry, this is all legal. The game will be sold in cartridge form, but the author/published has made the game available for a free download.

Exposure of there technology to the market has generated a great deal of interest and word on the street is that they are preparing a announcment concerning several large contracts with major providers, giving them a huge competative jump in the market.

IS MOMENTUM BUILDING FOR THIS STOCK? IS IT READY TO MOVE? NO SIR, I DIDN’T LIKE IT.

Goodbye, my friends.

I’ve decided to leave the internet for the most part. I’ve done some internal surveying and realize I spend way too much time on the internet and don’t get much out of it. My ass is probably growing fatter by the keystroke.

MGroves has been nice to me and I thank all of you for the ride, I could be back. We’ll see.

[Note from mgroves: Tweeder is welcome to post here any time in the future, as he will retain his account. However, in light of Tweeder's decision, I will be bringing in another author very soon, because I think it adds a lot to the blog, and also, I'm very very lazy. Stay tuned.
